The Monroe Township Public Library is committed to offering full library services to residents in the most complete and modern manner possible.
A well-trained staff provides users with the means to locate materials consistent with their informational, educational and recreational needs. The goal of the Library is to provide these services as an encouragement to promote literacy and enjoyment of learning and reading.

The Library Board helps to ensure that the Township's library provides services and materials which fulfill the educational, informational, cultural and recreational needs of Monroe's residents.
2026 Board Meeting Dates
Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Monroe Township Library's Conference Room with the exception of February due to a conflict with the New Jersey Library Association Annual Conference.
January 20, February 24, March 17, April 21, May 19, June 16, July 21, September 15, October 20, November 17, December 15. There will be no meetings in August. Please check the Township's calendar for possible changes.
