Economic Development Advisory Board
The Economic Development Advisory Board shall promote economic growth and job creation in the Township by uniting local business leaders and the Township’s elected officials to share ideas and maximize strengths and assets of our community and its workforce. The Economic Development Advisory Board’s mission is to advise the Mayor and Council regarding policies and programs to attract new businesses that will add to the Township’s already strong and diverse economic community, and policies aimed to retain and support existing businesses.
MEETING DATES: January 15, March 19, May 21, August 20, October 15, and November 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the Court Room of the Municipal Building.

Your invitation will be forwarded to the Mayor, Council Members, and the Township Public Information Office.
Please Note:
- You are responsible for providing any necessary supplies, such as the ribbon and ceremonial scissors.
- The welcome is traditionally given by a company representative (owner, manager, president, etc.), followed by the introduction of your business and any attending elected officials or dignitaries.
- Photos of the event and a welcome to your business will be shared on all township social media platforms and featured in the next print edition of the “Monroe News,” which is mailed to every resident in town.
