TOWNSHIP OF MONROE PLANNING BOARD MINUTES

MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING | June 22, 2017

Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman David Rothman who led the salute to the Flag.

Chairman David Rothman read the Sunshine Law as follows:In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, it is hereby announced and shall be entered into the minutes of this meeting that adequate notice of this meeting has been provided by the following:

Posted on January 6, 2017 on the Bulletin Board of the Office of the Township Clerk, Municipal Complex, 1 Municipal Plaza, and remains on file at that location for public inspection;

Printed in the Home News Tribune and Cranbury Press on January 6, 2017;

Posted on January 6, 2017 on the Bulletin Boards within the Municipal complex, 1 Municipal Plaza;

Posted on the Monroe Township website; and

Sent to those individuals who have requested personal notice.

MEMBERS PRESENT:       Chairman David Rothman, Vice Chairman Len Levene, Mrs. Karen Polidoro, Mr. Louis Caron, Mr. Anthony Zarillo, Mr. Terence Van Dzura, Alternate #1 Ms. Roslyn Brodsky, Councilman Michael Leibowitz and Mayor Gerald Tamburro.  Also present for the Board were Attorney Jerome Convery, Planner Mark Remsa, and Engineer Mark Rasimowicz.

MEMBERS ABSENT:         Mr. Andy Paluri.

A motion to approve the May 25, 2017 Minutesmade by Mr. Anthony Zarillo and seconded by Mr. Len Levene and passed with Mrs. Karen Polidoro and Councilman Michael Leibowitz abstaining.

PB-1186-16                           JSM AT APPLEGARTH, LLC; REQUEST FOR PRELIMINARY AND FINAL SITE PLAN WITH MINOR SUBDIVISION AND BULK VARIANCES; BLOCK 25, LOTS 2.10 – 2.14; LOCATED ON APPLEGARTH ROAD, IN THE POCD-AR-AH Zone

Represented by Mr. Kevin Boris who stated we are seeking minor subdivision approval.  The remainder of the application will be carried to the next meeting in July.  We are reconfiguring a lot line adjustment.

Mr. Ron Aulenbach, Director of Planning and Engineering, stated this lot does not have any road frontage.  It is part of the mixed lot proposed development.

Mr. Justin Auciello, Applicant’s Planner, stated there are cross access easements to remain.  The proposed lot will be #2.16.  This is part of a mixed use application.  The variance is for lack of road frontage. 

Mr. Mark Rasimowicz, Board Engineer, has no objections subject to applicant’s compliance with report dated May 19, 2017.

Mr. Mark Remsa, Board Planner, has no objections subject to applicant’s compliance with report dated May 16, 2017

 

Mr. Anthony Zarillo asked if anything was being constructed.  (No construction.)

 

Motion to approve made by Mr. Anthony Zarilloand seconded by Mr. Lou Caronand passed unanimously by all members of the Board present.
