MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING

May 25, 2017

Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman David Rothman who led the salute to the Flag.

 

Chairman David Rothman read the Sunshine Law as follows:In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, it is hereby announced and shall be entered into the minutes of this meeting that adequate notice of this meeting has been provided by the following:

 

Posted on January 6, 2017 on the Bulletin Board of the Office of the Township Clerk, Municipal Complex, 1 Municipal Plaza, and remains on file at that location for public inspection;

MEMBERS PRESENT:       Chairman David Rothman, Vice Chairman Len Levene,  Mr. Andy Paluri, Mr. Anthony Zarillo, Alternate #1 Ms. Roslyn Brodsky and Mayor Gerald Tamburro.  Also present for the Board were Attorney Jerome Convery, Planner Mark Remsa, and Engineer Mark Rasimowicz.

 

 

 

MEMBERS ABSENT:         Mrs. Karen Polidoro, Mr. Lou Caron, Mr. Terence Van Dzura and councilman Michael Leibowitz.

 

           

A motion to approve the April 27, 2017 Minutesmade by Mr. Anthony Zarillo and seconded by Ms. Roslyn Brodsky and passed with Mr. Andy Paluri abstaining.

 

 

 

 

PB-1186-16                           JSM AT APPLEGARTH, LLC; REQUEST FOR PRELIMINARY AND FINAL SITE PLAN WITH MINOR SUBDIVISION AND BULK VARIANCES; BLOCK 25, LOTS 2.10 – 2.14; LOCATED ON APPLEGARTH ROAD, IN THE POCD-AR-AH Zone

 

Applicant sent a letter requesting to be carried to the next regular meeting without additional notice.

 

Chairman David Rothman stated this application will be carried to the June 22, 2017 meeting without notice.

 

 

DISCUSSION ITEMS

 

A motion to approve extension of time for PB-1156-14 (Block 48.40, Lot 2) Perry and Mary Ann Giancola made by Mr. Andy Paluri and seconded by Mr. Anthony Zarillo and passedunanimously by all members of the Board present.

 

A motion to approve extension of time for PB-1126-12 (Block 148, Lot 30) AB Monroe formerly known as DW Land made by Mr. Anthony Zarillo and seconded by Ms. Roslyn Brodsky and passedunanimously by all members of the Board present.

 

A motion to approve extension of time for PB-1165-15 (Block 49, Lot 12) Hometech Homes, LLC made by Ms. Roslyn Brodsky and seconded by Mr. Len Levene and passedunanimously by all members of the Board present.

MEMORIALIZATION

 

PB-1188-16               Monroe 33 Developers, LLC, a motion to approve made by Mr. Anthony Zarillo and seconded by Mr. Len Levene and passed with Mr. Andy Paluri abstaining.

CONTINUATION of DISCUSSION ITEMS

 

Mr. Jerome Convery stated this is an amendment to recommend zone changes from six (6) acre zoning to ten (10) acre zoning.

 

Mr. Mark Remsa stated this was before the Planning Board back in the beginning of the year.

 

PUBLIC:

Ms. Michelle Arminio asked if there was public at that meeting and if the farmers were contacted.

 

Mr. Mark Remsa stated there was a public hearing and no public has input on it.

 

A motion to adopt resolution to Recommend Amendments to Land Development Ordinance (Chapter 108) to Township Council made by Mr. Anthony Zarillo and seconded by Ms. Roslyn Brodsky and passed unanimously by all members of the Board present.

 

 

 

A motion to adjourn at 10:50 p.m. made by Mr. Andy Paluriand seconded by Mr. Len Levene and passed unanimously by all members of the Board present.
