In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, it is hereby announced and shall be entered into the Minutes of this meeting that adequate notice has been provided by the following:

1. Posted on the Bulletin Boards within the Municipal Building on March 11, 2019 and remains posted at that location for public inspection;
2. Printed in the HOME NEWS TRIBUNE on March 12, 2019and CRANBURY PRESS on March 15, 2019; 
3. Posted on the Monroe Township website; and
4. Sent to those individuals who have requested personal notice.

In accordance with Chapter 3, Section 17 of the Monroe Township Code, Public Comment shall be limited to five (5) minutes unless further time is granted by the Council President.

Council President Dalina to announce the Special Meeting is being Called to Order for the purpose of conducting a Public Hearing on the Monroe Township Fire District No. 1 Budget that was defeated by the Voters at the February 16, 2019 Fire Election.

5. Presentation by Joseph Massoni, Accountant for Monroe Township Fire District 1.
6. Request for a MOTIONand SECOND to open the Public Hearingon the defeated Fire Budget.
