“It is with the heaviest of hearts that we remember the legacy of Mayor Richard Pucci, who was larger than life. He was a staple of the Monroe community for three decades.

Mayor Pucci led our township for a generation, having served seven terms before announcing he would not seek re-election in 2015. In his 28 years of public service, he championed the building of the high school, a premier senior center, the public library, the post office, our beautiful parks and the many active adult communities.

It is my privilege to present to you the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2025. This budget comes at a time of rising financial pressure, not only on our township government but also on our residents. Like many of you, we are facing increased utility costs, higher healthcare expenses, and other fixed costs affected by inflation and recent market uncertainty. We know these pressures are real, and they are being felt throughout our community.
