5 NEW COVID-19 POSITIVE CASES REPORTED COMMUNITY-WIDE IN MONROE ON TUESDAY

COVID-19 Cases received Tuesday, May 26:  

New positive cases 5:  63, female; 66, male; 30, female; 42, male; 63, female

STATE AND NJDOH STATISTICS:  

• NJ hospitals currently have 2,761 patients being treated for COVID-19.
• NJ Field Medical Stations reported 16 patients. 
• 241 new hospitalizations and 164 patients were discharged from the hospital yesterday.
• 768 patients in either critical or intensive care; 76% of critical care patients are on ventilators; 583 ventilators currently in use.
• Governor Murphy said that the number of deaths is higher than recent days, likely due to delayed reporting over the holiday weekend.“Every New Jersean we’ve lost remains in our thoughts,” said Governor Murphy.“They’re remembered as our flags remain at half-staff.”

ANTIBODY TESTING & COVID-19 TESTING AVAILABLE:  MyInstaDoc Monroe is offering igG Antibody Testingand COVID-19 Swab Testingat their facility at 298 Applegarth Road.  

igG Antibody Blood Testing conducted in-office by appointment.  Call for an appointment at 609-207-3220.  A patient must be free from all COVID-19 symptoms for a period of no less than 14 days. This test will assess them for subclinical infection in the past.

COVID-19 Nasal Swab Testing:  This testing is a drive-up test site, open TUESDAY, THURSDAY AND SATURDAY. You must pre-register hereto secure an appointment time. The facility will serve pre-registered COVID-19 testing patients only from 9am – 1pm and drive-up patients from 1pm – 3:30pm.
