STATE AND NJDOH STATISTICS:
- NJ hospitals currently have 1,740 patients being treated for COVID-19 – the fifth straight day of being below 2,000 statewide; Field Medical Stations reported 16 patients.
- 94 new hospitalizations and 112 patients were discharged from the hospital yesterday.
- 498 patients in either critical or intensive care – cut 50% in the past three weeks; 361 ventilators currently in use.
- The rate of spread for each new case remains below one.
- The daily positivity rate for tests from June 4 was 3.6%.
PUBLIC AND PRIVATE POOLS PERMITTED TO OPEN JUNE 22: Governor Murphy announced today that NJ public and private pools will be permitted to reopen on June 22. Additional guidelines on restrictions are expected tomorrow from NJ Department of Health. Read the full NJ.com article here.
