FIFTEEN NEW COVID-19 POSITIVE CASES REPORTED COMMUNITY-WIDE OVER SEVEN-DAY PERIOD

Four additional positive cases community-wide reported today were from March, June, July and September.

STATE AND NJDOH STATISTICS: 

• NJ hospitals have 733 COVID-19 patients: (542 confirmed positive, 191 pending test results)
• 178 patients in intensive care; 60 ventilators in use.
• Daily spot positivity rate for tests from October 11 was 4.35%. Rate of transmission 1.16.
• As of Tuesday, October 13, travelers to NJ from 38 states and territories are advised to observe a 14-day self-quarantine period. Visit Covid19.nj.gov for updates.
