TOWNSHIP OF MONROE MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NEW JERSEY NOTICE OF PUBLIC AUCTION
Notice is hereby given that the Township of Monroe, Middlesex County, shall hold a public auction on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 10:00 am at Monroe Township Police Department, 3 Municipal Plaza, Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 for the following:
One (1) 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER
VIN No. 5N1AR2MN1DC601624
The vehicle shall be available for public inspection on April 29, 2026 beginning at 9:45 am in the parking lot of the Monroe Township Police Department, 3 Municipal Plaza, Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. The auction shall begin at 10:00am.
The minimum starting price for the auction shall be $590.40 to cover the costs of towing and storage. The vehicle shall be sold to the highest bidder. The highest bidder shall deposit ten percent of the total amount bid in cash at the end of the auction. No other form of payment shall be acceptable. Payment in full for the balance must be made by certified check made payable to the Township of Monroe within five (5) days of the end of the auction and delivered to the Township Clerk's office, One Municipal Plaza, Monroe Township, New Jersey between the hours of 9:00 am to 12 noon.
Upon payment in full, the Township Clerk's office shall supply the purchaser with the following items: a fully completed and signed OS/SS-88 Form; a certified affidavit of newspaper publication of the auction; and a bill of sale from the Township containing the sale price, sale date, purchaser's name, address and signature and the Township's address, authorized representative's name and signature. In order to obtain title to the vehicle, it shall be the purchaser's responsibility to mail the above documents with a $3.00 check or money order made payable to the MJMVC, together with a check in the amount of 6.625% sales tax on the purchase price of the vehicle, and a photocopy of the purchaser's driver's license to the MVC, P.O. Box 017, Trenton, New Jersey 08666-0017.
The sale shall be final and the vehicle is sold in "as is or where is" condition free from any warranty or guarantee. The highest bidder shall be responsible for removing said vehicle from Township property within five (5) days after completing the sale.
All bidders participating in this auction agree that they have read and fully understand the terms and conditions outlined in this Public Notice and agree to be bound thereby.
