Monroe Township Launches New Website; Provides Enhanced User Experience

New Township Portal Improves Communications and Streamlines Information

MONROE TOWNSHIP, N.J.  – Monroe Township today announced the launch of a newly redesigned website at www.monroetwp.com that features streamlined navigation and enhanced functionality.

“We are excited to present a new virtual face for Monroe Township via this visually pleasing and easy-to-navigate site,” said Mayor Gerald W. Tamburro.  “Our residents and businesses now will have easy access to the latest Township news and information while maintaining the ability to conduct standard transactions such as making payments and downloading forms and applications.”

New Features of the website include:

  • New home page with large icons for easy viewing
  • Intuitive navigation for more direct access to some of the Township's most commonly searched topics
  • Mobile device compatibility for easy remote access
  • Improved searchability for more accurate delivery within the site
  • Upgraded search engine optimization for more direct results
  • Helpful Links to commonly used local, county and state pages

The new site serves as an anchor for the Township’s broader communications plan that includes the launch of a new monthly e-newsletter campaign earlier this year and continuation of tried-and-true resources such as the triannual print Monroe News newsletter, Monroe TV and the Township of Monroe Facebook page.

“The site was developed and built with input from a multitude of township departments, professionals and stakeholders in order to provide the most comprehensive resource possible,” said Mayor Tamburro. “This launch is the next step in our overall communications strategy to share accurate information as quickly and effectively as possible via convenient channels.”

Residents and interested parties are invited to register for the E-Newsletter or visit the new website under News.
