COVID-19 Cases received Saturday, June 13:  
New positive cases 3: 62, male; 63, female; 74, male

COVID-19 Cases received Sunday, June 14:  New positive cases 2:  95, female; 26, female

 

STATE AND NJDOH STATISTICS: 

  • NJ hospitals currently have 1,351 patients being treated for COVID-19. Field medical stations reported 6 patients.
  • 402 patients in either critical or intensive care; 66% on ventilators; 267 ventilators in use.
  • The daily spot positivity rate for tests from June 11 was 2.6%.
  • “We continue to see statewide declines in: total and new hospitalizations, ICU beds filled and ventilators in use,” said Governor Murphy.

LOW-RISK COMPETITIVE YOUTH SPORTS TO RESUME JUNE 22; HIGHER-RISK SPORTS TO RESUME LATER:  Governor Murphy issued guidance today allowing low-risk organized sports such as golf and tennis to resume competition on June 22.  Medium- and high-risk sports such as soccer and football may also resume non-contact drills and practices on Monday, 6/22.  Competition for medium risk sports is anticipated to resume on July 6 and full practices and competitions for high risk sports on July 20.  Read the full NJ.com article here.
