ZERO NEW COVID-19 POSITIVE CASES REPORTED IN MONROE TOWNSHIP ON TUESDAY

More than 200 cars full of excited Monroe residents lined up and parked on the lawn at Thompson Park last night to watch Toy Story 4 as one big happy family (socially distanced, of course.) STATE AND NJDOH STATISTICS:
- NJ hospitals currently have 1,196 patients being treated for COVID-19.
- 77 new COVID-19 hospitalizations and 110 discharges yesterday.
- 275 patients in either critical or intensive care; 78% on ventilators; 214 ventilators in use.
- The daily spot positivity rate for tests from June 20 was 2.83%; transmission rate of 0.86.
- More than 230 people are currently being onboarded as contact tracers – adding to the ranks of the 900 who’ve been working through this emergency.
- The following may reopen July 2 at 25% capacity:Libraries, museums, aquariums, indoor recreation facilities including bowling alleys, batting cages, shooting ranges and arcades.Indoor entertainment venues, such as movie theaters, performing arts centers, concert venues, and nightclubs, will remain closed. Gyms and fitness centers will remain closed – individual training sessions will be allowed by appointment.
