STATE AND NJDOH STATISTICS:  

  • Governor Murphy reported today an additional “1,854 Probable COVID-19 Deaths” since the emergency began.
  • NJ hospitals currently have 1,182 patients being treated for COVID-19.
  • 56 new COVID-19 hospitalizations and 108 discharges yesterday.
  • 252 patients in either critical or intensive care; 83% on ventilators; 210 ventilators in use.
  • The daily spot positivity rate for tests from June 21 was 3.65%; transmission rate of 0.88.
  • 1 new case of Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in children; 45 cases total; no deaths.
  • “If you were at a crowded bar or restaurant, you should get tested,” said Governor Murphy.“If you were at a protest, you should get tested.”  Visit covid19.nj.gov/testing.

14-DAY QUARANTINE WHEN ENTERING NJ FROM STATES WITH ELEVATED6251 INFECTION RATES EFFECTIVE MIDNIGHT TONIGHT:  People entering the New Jersey, New York or Connecticut from nine states where cases have spiked will be asked to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival effective midnight on Wednesday, June 25. Tri-state residents returning home from Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Utah and Washington are also expected to self-isolate for two weeks.  Click here for more information.
