Notice of Public Hearing - Application for Green Acres Funding - 2024 JAKE’S LAW PLAYGROUND FUNDING APPLICATION – LOCAL GOVERNMENTS
PURPOSE: Monroe Township is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at the Monroe Community Garden located at 124 Applegarth Road in Monroe Township.
PROJECT SCOPE: Monroe Township proposes to create the following new facilities at the Monroe Community Garden: a Completely Inclusive Playground, an ADA-compliant restroom facility, a parking lot expansion, an interconnecting walkway to an adjacent residential community, and an expansion of the gardening area. PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on Monday, February 5, 2024, at 6:30 pm. The meeting will be held In Person, as part of the regularly scheduled Council meeting, at 1 Municipal Plaza.
