MESSAGE FROM GOVERNOR MURPHY:
“This second wave is without question upon us. Our numbers have gone up dramatically, whether it’s new cases, hospitalizations, our positivity rate, everything is going in the wrong direction. Wear a mask. Social distance. Stay safe,” said Governor Murphy. “As cases of COVID-19 increase across the country and in our state, we must take all measures necessary to stop the spread. We must come together as a state to once again beat back this deadly virus and to save lives.” Governor Murphy’s cited 3,000 to 3,800 cases per day now, compared to a peak of 4,300 in the spring. “We’re getting into a neighborhood that is extremely concerning.”
