COVID-19 Cases received Thursday, June 25:  New positive case 1:  29, female

STATE AND NJDOH STATISTICS:  

• NJ hospitals currently have 1,118 patients being treated for COVID-19.
• 59 new COVID-19 hospitalizations and 114 discharges yesterday.
• 234 patients in either critical or intensive care; 88% on ventilators; 206 ventilators in use.
• The daily spot positivity rate for tests from June 22 was 2.1%; transmission rate of 0.86.
• 2 new cases of Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in children; 47 cases total; no deaths.
• “We need to continue to be vigilant to ensure we don’t fall back,” said Governor Murphy.“Keep up with social distancing, wearing a face covering and taking personal responsibility.”

STATE AND NJDOH STATISTICS:  

• Governor Murphy reported today an additional “1,854 Probable COVID-19 Deaths” since the emergency began.
• NJ hospitals currently have 1,182 patients being treated for COVID-19.
• 56 new COVID-19 hospitalizations and 108 discharges yesterday.
• 252 patients in either critical or intensive care; 83% on ventilators; 210 ventilators in use.
• The daily spot positivity rate for tests from June 21 was 3.65%; transmission rate of 0.88.
• 1 new case of Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in children; 45 cases total; no deaths.
• “If you were at a crowded bar or restaurant, you should get tested,” said Governor Murphy.“If you were at a protest, you should get tested.”  Visit covid19.nj.gov/testing.

MONROE’S FIRST DRIVE-IN MOVIE NIGHT A HUGE SUCCESS!!

More than 200 cars full of excited Monroe residents lined up and parked on the lawn at Thompson Park last night to watch Toy Story 4 as one big happy family (socially distanced, of course.)
